Thanks in large part to the dedication of our volunteer Chapter Officers and Board as well as the support and feedback from chapter members, the ISACA Detroit Chapter has become a nationally recognized chapter within the ISACA® community. International's 2008 Leadership Conference in Toronto on July 25-26, 2008.

About the K. Wayne Snipes Award
In 2007, the ISACA Detroit Chapter was one of 17 chapters globally to earn the K. Wayne Snipes Chapter Recognition Award. The award is given to top regional chapters based on chapter size (small: 20-100 members, medium: 101-300 members, large: 301-800 members, very large: 801+ members). The award recognizes chapters that "meet or exceed service goals by actively supporting local membership and, thus, the information systems (IS) audit and control profession" based on annual chapter activity reports.Award recipients are determined based on the following criteria:
Chapter membership growth
Member service projects
Chapter-sponsored educational events
Attendance at chapter meetings
Involvement on association committees, or with association activities
Involvement with other professional organizations
Compliance with ISACA International Headquarters
About the ISACA Chapter Website Award
Every year since 2001, the ISACA International Membership Board has reviewed the websites of ISACA chapters throughout the world recognizing the best in each region with gold, silver, and bronze level certificates to reward the chapter's efforts in the design, content, and management of the chapter website. In 2005, the ISACA Detroit Chapter earned the gold award for having an outstanding website.
