About the K. Wayne Snipes Award

In 2007, the ISACA Detroit Chapter was one of 17 chapters globally to earn the K. Wayne Snipes Chapter Recognition Award. The award is given to top regional chapters based on chapter size (small: 20-100 members, medium: 101-300 members, large: 301-800 members, very large: 801+ members). The award recognizes chapters that "meet or exceed service goals by actively supporting local membership and, thus, the information systems (IS) audit and control profession" based on annual chapter activity reports.
